Frank Frazetta passed away last week at the grand old age of 82... Frank's work is etched onto my brain : his fantasy paintings & illustrations are somehow a true part / image of my childhood & youth. i remember his work so vividly - it somehow graced every book, comic, novel i picked up as a kid & as i got older his work on Conan, Vampirella and various album covers ( most recently WolfMother ) just blew me away. he will be sadly missed - i just hope that the up&comin'
