We can imagine how the brainstorm went for this new Sony game. "Yeah, we want the characters to be customisable, you know like those designer toys you can get? (show slide of Munnys). Have you heard of Kidrobot? Oh, right, cool. Let's get to work lifting the whole concept then and making it into a computer game. But with cars so that it's not exactly the same as Little Big Planet."
Just a guess and maybe Mr Eaton was involved somewhere along the line but if not, they owe a debt of gratitude to him and KR and the rest of the vinyl world.
GamesTM magazine seems to think the game is looking promising but I reckon the whole customising your avatar thing is a bit tired.
